Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health treatment and support agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to ensure agency employees have the tools they need for continued success.

ARC Purchasing Assistants maintain, track, and distribute supplies for all aspects of client service provision and agency administration. They are responsible for gathering and preparing quotes, proposals, and purchase terms and conditions from suppliers for review. ARC Purchasing Assistants are well-organized, computer-competent individuals with proficiency in ordering and supporting precise inventory accounting.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Purchasing of agency-approved furniture, equipment, supplies and curriculum as requested or identified;
• Ensuring inventory ordering and delivery coordination across all departments and locations;
• Maintaining backstock inventory of supplies;
• Tracking inventory and supply expiration dates at all facilities;
• Providing administration reception and general office clerical support; and
• Delivering excellent customer service to ARC employees, clients and patients, community partners, and the public at large.

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working in procurement or purchasing with an Associate degree in related field preferred;
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks;
• Analytical skills, with the ability to create, interpret, and present data;
• Computer proficient, with the ability to learn new applications and software; and
• Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail.

Compensation and benefits include:

•ARC employees work no more than four-days a week to ensure they can maintain a healthy work and life balance;
• Starting wage ranging from $25.00 to $28.75 per hour, depending on credentials, skills, and experience;
• $750.00 sign-on bonus for the successful candidate (paid in two installments, 50% at three months active employment, remaining 50% at six months active employment);
• Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service;
• Paid Sick Time accrues up to 96.00 hours annually; and
• Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
