POSITION DETAILS

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC), based in Medford, Oregon, is a diverse behavioral health agency dedicated to providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive spectrum of treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders across Southern Oregon. We are currently in search of a qualified, full-time Sobering Program Supervisor to oversee our 24/7 sobering program while ensuring the well-being of our patients and the delivery of professional and compassionate care.

ARC’s Sobering Program Supervisor leads a dedicated team of specialists to enhance the effectiveness of service delivery, and ensure the quality of patient experience, all with a trauma-informed approach. They manage the day-to-day operations of our sobering services and collaborate with various stakeholders as needed to ensure excellent client care and community collaboration. ARC’s Sobering Program Supervisor prioritizes tasks to meet the needs of patients and the organization, while also complying with established guidelines, protocols, and regulatory requirements, as well as Addictions Recovery Center’s Mission, Philosophy, and Guiding Principles.

Occasional on-call availability required. The successful candidate must be available on-call as needed during evenings, weekends, or holidays to address urgent matters or emergencies.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervising day-to-day operations of the sobering program, including intake procedures, monitoring client safety, and coordinating discharge processes
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment within the sobering facility, following established safety protocols and crisis intervention procedures
  • Participating in developing and improving operational systems within the sobering program as needed
  • Managing workflow processes, including employee schedules, task delegation, reporting, and issue resolution
  • Ensuring timely response to inquiries and track performance metrics related to client satisfaction, admissions and releases, and records maintenance
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program for sobering services
  • Overseeing facility cleanliness, safety standards, and compliance with regulations
  • Mentoring, coaching, and supervising staff, providing guidance on best practices, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, counseling, or healthcare administration preferred.
  • Previous experience in organizational operations, client service, and staff supervision is required.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications for scheduling, data management, and reporting is desirable.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet the needs of clients and the organization

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
  • Starting salary ranging from $56,000.00 to $64,400.00 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
  • Employer-paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
  • Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
  • Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
