Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC) in Medford, Oregon, is a multidisciplinary behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a qualified, full-time Revenue Cycle Manager to lead our Billing Department, ensuring financial sustainability by managing the entire revenue cycle process—from accurate and timely insurance billing to strategic oversight of collections and cash flow. This role is essential in advancing the agency’s financial stability and success by ensuring we maximize revenue opportunities while reducing financial stress on those we serve, allowing clients to focus on their treatment journey.
ARC’s Revenue Cycle Manager plays a pivotal role in securing a consistent cash flow, optimizing revenue, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. They will provide leadership, mentorship, and hands-on management to the Billing Department, ensuring all team members contribute to the agency’s financial health. By establishing efficient billing workflows and maintaining strong relationships with payers, the Revenue Cycle Manager will drive the agency’s success and help sustain its vital services.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Implement revenue optimization strategies to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and adherence to regulatory requirements, maximizing the agency’s financial performance
- Oversee the entire revenue cycle from claims submission to payment posting, ensuring a streamlined and efficient process that enhances revenue generation and reduces delays
- Analyze financial performance, focusing on revenue trends, collections, and cash flow, and develop actionable plans to address areas of concern and improve outcomes
- Enhance and standardize billing workflows across the organization to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency in all revenue-generating processes
- Produce, analyze, and present monthly revenue cycle reports that monitor cash flow, billing performance, and revenue projections, providing insights for financial decision-making
- Manage relationships with insurance payers, addressing claim rejections and resolving issues to improve collection times and ensure a consistent cash flow
- Coach and mentor billing staff, fostering continuous improvement in their performance and supporting the agency’s overall financial health
- Ensure compliance with billing regulations, filing deadlines, and internal policies, safeguarding the agency’s financial stability
- Collaborate with leadership on financial forecasting and planning, identifying risks and opportunities to strengthen the agency’s financial resilience
- Monitor performance and implement corrective plans to address unfavorable trends in billing and collections, driving continuous improvement
- Assign and schedule billing tasks for Billing Specialists, overseeing insurance billing, payment posting, and reporting, while maintaining effective relationships with payers
- Provide feedback and support to staff, ensuring the quality of work meets the agency’s standards and guiding staff in their professional development
- Maintain consistency in billing practices, ensuring adherence to operating policies, procedures, and timely filing requirements
- Complete necessary billing reports as requested by leadership, contributing to the overall financial transparency and reporting processes
- Work closely with leadership on reviewing account reconciliations, claim rejections, and payer discrepancies, addressing any issues to optimize revenue cycle efficiency
The Revenue Cycle Manager may also perform Billing Specialist functions and other tasks as needed.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS
Education, Credentials and Skills should includes:
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory and 2 leadership role
- 2-3 years of direct medical billing experience (behavioral health billing experience preferred)
- AA/BA or equivalent combination of work experience and training
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and priorities
- A professional demeanor, strong customer services orientation, and excellent communication skills
- Advanced competency in computer use, keyboarding, databases, and MS Office products
- An understanding of the agency’s mission and culture, and a commitment to client success
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation and benefits include:
- ARC employees work no more than four-days a week to ensure they can maintain a healthy work and life balance
- Starting salary ranging from $65,744.64 to $75,606.34 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
- Employer-paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
- Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
- Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
