POSITION DETAILS
Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist to collaborate with our dynamic multi-disciplinary treatment teams and contribute to enhancing the well-being of individuals as they learn to manage their substance use disorder and build healthy and self-sufficient lives.
ARC Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for individuals seeking to recover from addiction. They are well-organized, computer-proficient, detail-oriented individuals with exceptional client service skills and a trauma-informed approach. ARC Receptionists foster trust and alleviate stress by helping clients navigate the early processes of engaging in treatment, which can be a key source of support towards their success.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service as the initial point of contact for existing and potential clients and the public
- Scheduling appointments and managing calendars for multiple treatment teams
- Answering multiple phone lines, offering information, routing calls, and accurately recording detailed messages
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary treatment teams to ensure efficient communication and coordination of services
- Maintaining client records and ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information
- Accurately maintaining multiple computer data base systems
- Providing general office clerical support
- Providing backup for multiple phone lines, answering questions, routing calls, and taking accurate and detailed messages
This position is generally scheduled Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS
Education, Credentials and Skills should include:
- Front-desk reception experience in addictions treatment, medical or other human services environment, preferred
- High computer proficiency and ability to navigate data-base systems, ability to generate multiple reports, and MS Office products
- Advanced communication skills and ability to listen for clarity and understanding and respond accordingly
- Understanding of and compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR PART II
- Excellent organizational skills of workload and office activities
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation and benefits include:
- Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
- Starting wage ranging from $21.75 to $25.01 per hour, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
- Employer-paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
- Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
- Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
- Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
