POSITION DETAILS

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a well-organized individual with excellent service skills to work as a Medical Practice Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our withdrawal management facility and addiction medicine clinic, ensuring a high-quality patient experience and compliance with regulatory standards.

ARC Medical Practice Manager will help facilitate the efficient operation of our medical practice and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and support staff. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional patient care, compliance with relevant guidelines and regulations, and provides all services using a trauma-informed approach.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of the withdrawal management facility and addiction medicine clinic, ensuring the highest standards of patient care
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement practices and data-driven methods to enhance policies and procedures, focusing on efficiency and patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and support staff to build a cohesive vision and commitment to delivering exceptional services
  • Assist in budget development and monitoring for the medical practice, ensuring financial sustainability
  • Ensure adequate staff coverage by preparing and maintaining schedules in conjunction with the Medical Director
  • Stay informed of industry standards, regulations, trends, practices, and developments to ensure the practice remains current and compliant
  • Ensure compliance with all governing guidelines, including OSHA, HIPAA, state and federal regulations, in collaboration with the Compliance team
  • Investigate and address problems and incidents within the practice, collaborating with the Medical Director to determine and implement appropriate actions. Document and report incidents to the Compliance team
  • Communicate program barriers, concerns, activities, and successes to the leadership team

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
  • A combination of post-secondary education and progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting acceptable
  • Minimum of 3 years in a management or supervisory role experience, preferably within a healthcare or addiction medicine settings
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computer use and data entry
  • Strong organizational, project management, and process improvement skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Understanding and commitment to the agency’s mission and culture, with a focus on client success

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
  • Starting wage for a Medical Practice Manager ranging from $75,000.00 to $86,500.00 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
  • Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
