Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC), in Medford, Oregon is seeking a well-organized individual with training and experience in professional facilities maintenance to ensure the best possible environment for our clients and staff.
The successful candidate will work full-time and be responsive to all facility needs; ensure a professional look and level of cleanliness for all buildings and grounds; fulfill routine and long-term facilities maintenance schedules; and meet the day-to-day facility needs of the agency and ensure facilities meet critical regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist with the preventative maintenance schedule for all buildings and grounds, equipment and systems, and Agency vehicles;
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance as scheduled or as identified;
• Complete required maintenance documentation and submit to Facilities Manager;
• Complete day-to-day maintenance activities, as assigned;
• Troubleshoot a variety of maintenance issues and repair or coordinate with appropriate service vendors;
• Ensure overall professional appearance and safety of all facility buildings and grounds;
• Maintain company standards for cleanliness, safety, and productivity;
• Perform work to the highest level of accuracy and with a focus on attention to details;
• Provide an excellent level of customer service;
• Able to adjust to changing priorities;
• Able to work in a team setting, collaborate, brainstorm to generate ideas and improve process and workflow; and
• Understand and maintain highest level of confidentiality in all aspects of agency and client information.
Credentials/Skills required include:
• Knowledge of building facilities maintenance and repair operations and related support functions;
• Combination of education/training and experience in day-to-day facilities maintenance;
• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, sit and work on ladders or at heights as needed;
• Must be able to operate small tools required for the job: drills, black lights, stud finders, level, etc.;
• Ability to organize and plan work, adhering to deadlines;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to prioritize and work independently;
• Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record;
• Knowledge and experience working in a client/patient care or other human services environment, a plus;
• Professional demeanor, strong communication skills; and
• Moderate competency in computer use, keyboarding, and MS Office products.
ARC has facilities that provide services 24 hours per day/7 days per week and the Facilities Specialist may be required to work on-call, including nights, weekends, and holidays in a scheduled rotation.
Compensation and benefits include:
• Competitive wage from $16.46 to $18.93 per hour, based on level of skill and experience;
• $750.00 sign-on bonus for the successful candidate (paid in two installments, 50% at three months active employment, remaining 50% at six months active employment);
