POSITION DETAILS

Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a multidisciplinary behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are currently seeking a qualified, full-time Information Technology Supervisor to lead and manage our IT department and contribute to the wellbeing of our clients by maintaining secure and efficient technological systems that enable seamless access to essential treatment services and recovery supports.

ARC’s IT Supervisor ensures that the technological infrastructure supporting treatment services and supports is reliable, secure, and accessible, directly impacting our client’s ability to receive timely and effective care. They manage the day-to-day operations of the information technology department, and guide our team of IT experts in providing technical assistance and upholding IT infrastructure, while promoting the use of technological innovations to bolster our commitment to professional, evidence-based, and trauma-informed services. ARC’s IT Supervisor also enhances the overall client experience by fostering trust in the system and facilitating seamless communication between clients and their providers as they take their early first steps towards a life in recovery.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Fostering collaborative partnerships with external vendors to oversee the management and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems, encompassing servers, networks, databases, and software applications, to uphold optimal performance, reliability, and security standards
  • Delegating tasks, conducting thorough reviews, and providing clear guidance to staff to ensure the timely achievement of associated objectives
  • Working collaboratively with across departments to effectively coordinate project activities
  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of IT professionals and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and supports
  • Promoting the effective use of database functionality to bolster departmental and programmatic objectives
  • Maintaining documentation of IT systems, configurations, procedures, and user guides, while generating comprehensive reports on IT performance, issues, and trends as necessitated
  • Implementing and enforcing robust security measures to safeguard the organization’s data and systems against security threats
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as required

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS

Education, Credentials and Skills should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is highly desirable
  • Microsoft Certifications, particularly in Azure AD/Entra, Endpoint Management, 365, and SharePoint, are strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT support roles is required, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
  • Extensive experience with healthcare IT systems and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, notably HIPAA compliance, is highly preferred
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other specialized healthcare software applications
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards pertinent to healthcare IT, including but not limited to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Most ARC employees are scheduled four-days a week to support their ability to maintain a healthy work and life balance; medical and sobering positions are scheduled to work three days a week
  • Starting salary ranging from $63,000.00 to $72,450.00 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
  • Employer-paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
  • Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
  • Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
  • Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
