Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC) provides Medically Monitored Withdrawal Management (detox) and stabilization services for individuals requiring this level of care. Our aim is to create a stable, supportive environment as patients complete detox and prepare for further treatment.

  • Eligibility is determined through a screening that evaluates:
  • Substance use history
  • Medical and psychological background
  • Family, interpersonal, employment, and legal status
  • Need for and ability to benefit from treatment

ARC’s detox program is staffed by licensed medical professionals, including Family Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and support staff. A licensed medical professional is available 24/7 to monitor care and address immediate needs.

Our clinical staff also offers individual or group motivational counseling, patient advocacy, and case management as needed. Upon completing detox, patients may be referred to additional treatment services such as Residential or Outpatient programs. ARC works with each patient to ensure the best placement, either within ARC or with another provider.

Medicated Assisted Treatment

To address the opioid epidemic in Jackson and surrounding counties, Addictions Recovery Center, Inc. (ARC) has added Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and an Addiction Medicine Clinic (AMC) to its services.

By combining prescribing services with evidence-based behavioral health treatments, ARC aims to better meet clients’ needs and support long-term recovery.

MAT services help reduce the risk of overdose, HIV, hepatitis, and other complications of opioid use by prescribing Buprenorphine for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder. Naltrexone is also available for treating both opioid and alcohol use.

A personalized treatment plan, including support for co-occurring mental health disorders and Certified Recovery Mentor services, is available to all clients, including those prescribed MAT by other providers.

Group Counseling:

ARC offers individual and group therapy for those in the early stages of managing their substance use disorder.

Mental Health Services:

Addictions Recovery Center now offers integrated treatment for clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, addressing both conditions simultaneously. These services can also help with issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, and self-esteem.

DUII Class

The DUII Flex Program works with every State in the United States – from Alaska to Florida and from Wisconsin to Louisiana.

LGBTQIA2s+ Group Counseling

The course consists of 90-minute group sessions focused on the stages of change, including topics like drug effects, relationships, temptation, mindfulness, and positive thinking. It aims to support LGBTQIA2S+ individuals in changing substance use behaviors through targeted processes of change. Sessions are led by an ARC team member affiliated with the Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Addiction Professionals and Their Allies, advocating for inclusive and affirming services.

Gambling Addiction Services:

ROC Court

Jackson County’s Treatment Court Programs aim to rehabilitate individuals and families affected by addiction, promoting long-term success. Addictions Recovery Center partners with Jackson County Community Justice to provide services for the Jackson County Recovery Opportunity Court (ROC).
