New Warming Shelter Opens in Medford

MEDFORD, Ore. — Rogue Retreat in Medford is working to ensure homeless individuals in our area aren’t left out in the cold.

The local non-profit is teaming up with Church of the Rogue -First United Methodist Church to open the Kelly Shelter, a place where men, women and families can keep warm on cold winter’s nights, regardless of sobriety level.

The shelter will operate nightly with the help of community volunteers starting December 1st through March 31st. at 607 W., Main St. in Medford. Check in times are from 7 pm – 11 pm,  with guest times from 7 pm to 8 pm. Service are animals welcome.
