Addictions Recovery Center in Medford, Oregon is seeking a well-organized, computer proficient, detail-oriented individual to join our team of healers.

The successful candidate will work full-time in a fast-paced office environment and ensure accurate and timely client insurance claims processing occurs; complete detailed billing; process, post, and report payments; possess a professional demeanor, good communication skills, passion for customer service, and the ability to work with frequent interruptions; high proficiency and working knowledge of computer data-base navigation, MS Word and Excel required.

In addition to facilitating medical/insurance billing and payment processing, duties include: developing professional relationships with insurance payors; assisting with the negotiation and monitoring of insurance contracts; proactively resolving insurance claims disputes/denials; managing collection activities; maintaining required paper and/or electronic records of insurance contracts, 3rd party payors, and other relevant documentation.

Required knowledge/skills/experience:

  • Billing experience in behavioral health, addictions or medical billing;
  • Insurance billing and claims processing;
