Addictions Recovery Center is searching for a talented, knowledgeable Staff Accountant to work with our dedicated finance team. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This is a full-time position.<\/h3>\n

The successful candidate will fulfill the following duties and expectations:<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Reconcile and balance QuickBooks financial accounts\/data;
\n\u2022 Manage contract receivables, including invoicing and payment processing;
\n\u2022 Manage donor receivables, including invoicing, payment processing and gift letters;
\n\u2022 Process accounts payable check runs;
\n\u2022 Post journal entries to assist with month and year-end process;
\n\u2022 Assist in researching financial data for analysis;
\n\u2022 Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording of financial information;
\n\u2022 Produce accurate and timely reporting as assigned; and
\n\u2022 Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.<\/h3>\n

Credentials\/Skills required include:<\/h3>\n

\u2022 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and 2-5 years\u2019 experience;
\n\u2022 Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications;
\n\u2022 Experience with QuickBooks;
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization;
\n\u2022 Strong communications and listening skills;
\n\u2022 Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation;
\n\u2022 Highly detail-oriented; and
\n\u2022 Previous grant compliance and reporting experience a plus.<\/h3>\n

Compensation and benefits, including:<\/h3>\n

\u2022Competitive salary ranges from $54,873 to $70,992 depending on skills and experience;;
\n\u2022 $1500 sign-on bonus for the successful candidate (paid in two installments: 50% at three months active employment and remaining 50% at six months active employment);
\n\u2022 Health, dental, life, and LTD benefits at no cost for employee;
\n\u2022 Voluntary 401k retirement with employer match & immediate vesting;
\n\u2022 Additional optional benefits include vision, flexible spending account, and supplemental life;
\n\u2022 Generous Paid Leave including 20 vacation days to start, 10 paid holidays, 9 sick days, plus 20 hours professional training; and
