JACKSON COUNTY, Ore. — Drug laws are loosening up across the country – including Oregon.

bill signed by Governor Kate Brown Tuesday makes personal-use possession of cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and other drugs a misdemeanor, not a felony.

ARC Outpatient Clinical Manager Bob Herried spoke with KTVL News Channel 10 on why the bill may defer treatment for those in need.
