Addictions Recovery Center is searching for a talented, knowledgeable Staff accountant to work with our dedicated finance team.

The successful candidate will fulfill the following duties and expectations:

· Reconcile and balance QuickBooks financial accounts/data;
· Manage contract receivables, including invoicing and payment processing;
· Manage donor receivables, including invoicing, payment processing and gift letters;
· Process accounts payable check runs;
· Post journal entries to assist with month and year-end process;
· Assist in researching financial data for analysis;
· Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording of financial information;
· Produce accurate and timely reporting as assigned;
· Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Credentials/Skills required include:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and 2-5 years’ experience;\
· Demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications;
· Experience with QuickBooks;
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
· Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization;
· Strong communications and listening skills;
· Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation;
· Highly detail-oriented;
· Previous grant compliance and reporting experience a plus.
