What does the Gambling Program provide? Our Gambling Program is not a support group. It is a therapeutic process in which the gambler and/or family members learn coping skills necessary to overcome gambling addictions. In addition, the program addresses areas such as financial crisis, trust and other related issues. Services include diagnostic assessment, individual and family counseling, group therapy and education. Treatment is provided in a safe and confidential environment at an off site location. Treatment is individualized to meet specific needs of the clients. What does the Gambling Program COST? The program is a FREE service, provided through contractual arrangement with Jackson County Health and Human Services and paid for through State lottery funds. What about the family? Family members can get help even if the problem gambler is not ready. How do I enroll or get more information about the program? Groups meet in a safe, confidential and off site location. Individual and family counseling sessions are scheduled on an as needed basis.
